I co-founded Echo, a regulated wealth management platform on the Isle of Man, operating under IOMFSA as a Designated Business. We combined traditional wealth management with cutting-edge technology, including a cryptocurrency exchange, to give clients a modern, unified view of their assets. I architected the full compliance stack: KYC/AML pipelines, dynamic risk profiling, transaction monitoring, and UBO discovery across offshore trust structures, multi-layered company hierarchies, and the kind of regulated entity relationships that most platforms never have to touch.
Before that, I was the Technical Lead at Smart Pension, holding the highest technical position across first the Transactions department and then Investments. Smart Pension is a 4-in-1 platform powering pensions for Zurich, Legal & General, and Bank of Ireland.
